Cristyne Lategano-Nicholas
New York City

Cristyne has been known to turn up the Clash, and is an admirer of all tunes Sinatra.

In the city that never sleeps, Cristyne is always on the go as President & CEO of NYC & Company since October 1999. NYC & Company (formerly known as the New York Convention & Visitors Bureau) is New York City's official tourism marketing organization.

Prior to joining NYC & Company, Cristyne served a pivotal role in the administration of New York City Mayor Rudolph W. Giuliani. When appointed in January 1993 at the age of 28 to serve as the Mayor's press secretary, Lategano-Nicholas was the youngest person and only the second woman to ever hold that title.

In 1995, she was appointed director of communications where she oversaw City Hall's communications strategy, managed the award winning City of New York website, coordinated media relations and worked closely with the myriad constituencies and communities of New York City. She later added to her portfolio the responsibility of acting chief of staff. Her accomplishments while at City Hall included promoting New York City's unprecedented renaissance.

Cristyne is an adjunct professor at Baruch College and an instructor at the Women's Campaign School at Yale University. She graduated from Rutgers University with a BA in Political Science.
